The most important detail is the the laptop has structural damage that has compromised its screen. When you try and use the laptop alone, only part of the screen shows, and it flickers. Basically the screen is useless - and the two halves of the laptop are somewhat loosened as well.
HOWEVER, the laptop itself works fine. I've used it in this state for over a year by docking it to a desktop setup. It has decent specs as well.

So the internals have no issues, even if the body is pretty messed up.
I am including a nice 24" Dell monitor with adjustable height stand, an HP wired keyboard, a wireless Logitech mouse, Lamicall laptop stand, and a Dell docking station. These peripherals alone are worth well over $150. I am open to selling each of these separately
