I have a 2018 MacBook Pro 15" in great condition. It's in excellent condition; there are no visible damages, not even any major scratches. There was a recall back in 2021 to replace the top case and battery (I have records), so I took advantage of it although there were no issues with the laptop. As a result, the battery charge cycle count is only 485 although there is a "Service Recommended" warning perhaps because of the age of the battery. The laptop holds charge well.
