Club Car Pathway History
The 2003 Club Car Pathway was a special model created as part of a government emission control program in a joint venture with General Motors, along with the Ford Think and GM's Gem. These were originally built as Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) capable of 24 mph, but were detuned to 19.6 mph before being sold to the public as standard golf carts. After the program ended, many of these carts were leased and then sold off, with VINs removed
