Room with private bathroom wanted (san jose south)

I am looking to rent a room with a private bathroom in the san jose area but I would consider living in Santa Clara, Campbell, sunnyvale.
I am quiet and respectful of my roommates, always pay rent on time. good credit history,
Never been arrested or in trouble with the law.
I am a painting contractor who has been in the industry for almost 20 years. I work a lot, self- employed for the most part, usually leave the house early and comeback in the late afternoon. I eat out a lot but i can get down and cook meals at home too. I drink occasionally and responsibly.
Please do not put those crazy house rules like some people do:
“Light cooking only”—- i pay rent but I can’t cook?
“Do not come home after 10pm “ —-- are you my dad?
“No guest allowed” —— what , you dont have any friends
that can come enjoy a meal or a drink once in a while or a family member that can visit you?
Let me be clear, I hardly ever bring people home but i dont want to live in a place where i am being treated like a 12 year old with all these house rules.

I am a chill guy with a head on my shoulders, I enjoy sports ,the occasional bbq on a weekend or a poker night.
I do not have any pets or kids.
I am straight. your sexual orientation is your business.
I currently have only one vehicle (work truck)
I am NOT vegetarian and will never be. I eat all types of different food from different countries. I do not have any food allergies.
