The rent for this room is 1425/month which includes utilities. It is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3 story townhouse with ample street parking and access to the freeway, downtown San Jose, and lots of good food/nightlife. There are 3 people currently living there, mostly young working professionals, and it is a very chill and nice environment. I am moving away for additional academic pursuits, so this will be a subletting situation where you would be taking over the remainder of my lease which will end in June/July. There is a shared bathroom with your other housemate in the room next door, expectation is to share cleaning duties when required. The room is large with a walk-in closet and receives (in my opinion) the best natural light in the house. It never gets too cold in the winter or hot in the summer and is very naturally relaxing. I have enjoyed the room immensely, it's been an excellent place to study, work, and enjoy down time.
Communications Hill is a very sought after neighborhood, it has lovely walking paths going around the hill, almost 360 views of the entire city and some beautiful sunsets. I have loved living in this neighborhood and have never experienced any sort of crime including car break-ins, suspicious activity, or anything like that. Some nights I have even forgotten to lock my car and there has never once been an issue.
