No two days are ever the same with us. Some days will be quiet and calm while others will feel non-stop. Occasionally an 18 wheeler drops off 7 pallets of items but mostly it‘s 20-30 items combined received and shipped out daily.
Your day begins at 8:30 as you are the first to arrive and open the small warehouse. The first 2 hours of the day will pass quickly as we receive deliveries and communicate with our overseas team and pick and pack the overnight orders. Typically things quiet down until afternoon and you will assist with processing delivery intake and help to keep the warehouse and office space clean and organized. From 12-1 is a paid lunch. There are a number of nearby food locations nearby. We are located 2 minutes by car (5 walking) to Tennant Safeway shopping plaza. 1-3:30 is typically another rush as we finalize the day's orders in time for the daily courier pick ups. At the end of the day we typically will process returned items and attend to other activities. Your day will end at 4:30.
Summary of Role:
Supervise daily AM deliveries.
Pick, package and prepare items for shipping.
Document incoming merchandise.
Communicate with both local and overseas team members.
Organizing, inventory taking, periodic light cleaning.
Skills Sought:
Reliable, Organized Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
Basic mathematic ability. E.g. What is larger, a 18” cubed box or one that is 24”X12”X10”? (Don’t worry, you can use a calculator).
Ability to move heavy items- generally under 70 pounds.
Willingness to learn new processes, accept the world isn’t logical and adapt to change quickly as needed.
There is a small older male Pekinese dog on-site. You must at a minimum tolerate the dog.
Comfortable conducting the majority of duties using company provided phone.
Experience with WhatsApp is useful but not essential as it is not difficult to learn. The majority of inter-company communication is done using WhatsApp.
Must pass a criminal background check.
This is not a traditional work environment. You will be one of 3 people who work at this location daily. We are accustomed to working hard while enjoying a lively atmosphere. There is considerable advancement opportunity for the right person in this role. It’s a role best suited for someone who has yet to grab a hold of a meaningful career and is looking to exercise both their brain and body in a quirky but professional environment. Compensation and Benefits:
$22/hr to begin. All Federal Holidays are paid days off plus monthly accruing vacation from day one. Retirement contribution. We are in the process of shopping for health plans and expect to have one in place beginning later in Q1 2026. Currently, there is a company cash contribution to subsidize the cost of your healthcare.
