Position: Full-Time Store Associate
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, must be available to work shifts at both locations

Pottery Planet is a family-owned business with four Northern California locations, specializing in high-end pottery, fountains, and garden décor. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and offering unique, high-quality products that help our customers transform their outdoor spaces.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a customer-focused, sales-driven Store Associate to join our team. This role is primarily based on the sales floor, helping customers find the right products and creating a great in-store experience.
This position requires flexibility to work at both our Santa Cruz and Los Gatos locations. While the role is mainly in-store sales, there may be occasional support needed with local deliveries and product handling.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide a welcoming, knowledgeable, and sales-oriented experience for every customer
-Assist customers in selecting pottery, fountains, and garden décor
-Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
-Support merchandising and product displays
-Handle and move large products (pottery, fountains, etc.), often over 100 lbs (team lifts and proper equipment used)
-Assist with loading customer purchases into vehicles
-Occasionally support local deliveries and on-site customer interactions
-Work collaboratively across both store locations as needed

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical retail environment
-Comfortable handling large, heavy items with care
-Reliable transportation and willingness to commute between Santa Cruz and Los Gatos
-Retail or sales experience preferred (but not required)
