Hi, I’m Mary — a classically trained chef and longtime private household professional looking to connect with families and individuals along the coast and Peninsula who could use some reliable help.
Background: I trained at the French Culinary Institute in NYC, completed an externship in Parma, Italy at one of the country’s top culinary schools, and worked in kitchens including Le Cirque in New York. Over the past 15 years I’ve worked as a private chef, estate manager, and household manager for families who needed someone they could trust with both the big stuff and the everyday details.
What I offer:
• Home-cooked meals — weekly meal prep, dinner parties, special diets, or just having something good in the fridge when you get home
• Pet sitting and house watching — overnights, weekends, or longer if you’re traveling
• Light household management — errands, organizing, keeping things running smoothly
• Caregiving support — companionship, meal support, light assistance for older adults or family members
Why work with me: I’m independent, detail-oriented, and used to working in homes where discretion and reliability matter. I currently live and work in the Half Moon Bay area, cooking for tech companies and households across the Bay Area, and I’m looking to build a few steady relationships with people nearby.
