History proved the Vietnam War was started under a false flag by LBJ that our naval ships were attacked. As in most wars a few soldiers take things into their own hands violating the military code of conduct and if they're caught punished by a military tribunal. As of today none of this is happening so the caution brought up by a handful of dems was meant to instill a disconnect between active duty personal and their commanding officers which borders on sedition.
Our military doesn't arbitrarily blowing anyone up, in fact when they do act as they did in Iran multiple warnings were given based on sound reasoning under orders of a duly elected president to act in the self interests of the US and its defense. No one has to agree with each action but these actions are legally defined by the constitution under executive branch powers.
