For sale is a Velbon brand magnesium alloy ball head with quick release (QR) plate. This is model number QHD-61Q. This is a standard ball head which is intended sit atop a tripod, monopod, or other camera support equipment. The ball head pans 360 degrees and pivots / tilts left or right up to 90 degrees for portrait photography. The included long QR plate allows you to quickly attach or detach your camera. It has a standard female 1/4" screw-mount on the bottom. It has two sets of bubble levels. The maximum load capacity for the ball head is 10 pounds. It's relative lightweight, weighing less than 1 pound.
The ball head and QR plate are also in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. The pan and tilt lock lever opens and locks perfectly. The ball head moves smoothly when unlocked, but it remains stationary when locked. The QR plate fits perfectly in the QR bracket atop the head. And the mounting screw hole is in perfect condition.
Please note that no tripod, monopod, or other support equipment is included in the purchase. You're only purchasing the ball head.
You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction.
