Impact Brand 7-Feet Tall Photographic Light Stand System - $60 (san jose downtown)

For sale is a somewhat tall and sturdy photographic studio light stand system. As part of the purchase, you'll get one (1) Impact brand 7-feet tall photographic light stand and one (1) Impact brand flash mounting bracket. The light stand is used. The flash mounting bracket and umbrella and new and have never been used. Below is a complete list of technical details about the two items included in the purchase.
As part of the purchase, you'll get a 7-feet tall photographic lightstand. This is an Impact brand light stand, model number LS-7B. The stand has extremely sturdy double-brace tripod legs at the bottom and a three section telescoping center column at the top. The tripod legs are extended by unlocking a standard rotating dial lock. Each of the riser sections are extended by unlocking one of two standard flip levers.
When collapsed for storage and transportation, the stand measures just 28 inches long and 3 inches in diameter. When the tripod support legs are extended for use, the minimum height is 28 inches. When all center sections are fully extended, the stand is more than 7 feet tall (86 inches). This has a standard top screw mount stud which can be connected to the included flash mounting hardware (see below). This stand is constructed of very sturdy, but relatively lightweight aluminum alloy with a black exterior finish. This is NOT an air cushioned stand.
The light stand was purchased at BH Photo about 8 years ago and it was only used very infrequently. Given its very limited use, it's in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. The tripod legs lock and horizontal movements are smooth. The center column riser locks and vertical movements are also smooth. And top mount stud post is intact without concerns. Cosmetically, there are some small scratches on some exterior surfaces from normal wear, but nothing major or significant to notice. I no longer have the original cardboard box.
As part of the purchase, you'll also get an Impact brand flash and umbrella mounting bracket, model number DUB-2. This bracket is compatible with the above Impact brand light stand. It can accommodate any stand with a standard 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 stud adapter. You can mount your flash unit on the bracket either vertically or horizontally, using a standard cold shoe with a knurled locking knob. The bracket tilts up to 180 degrees, so you can position your flash unit up, down, or straight ahead. The bracket has a small hole above the pivot point to hold and secure a standard photographic umbrella or lightbox. You can attach any umbrella or lightbox up to 60" in size, using a locking knob.
The mounting bracket was purchased at BH Photo less than 6 months ago. It has never been used. It's still in the original, sealed packaging, as received from BH Photo.
The purchase does NOT include a flash unit, as those tend to be camera-specific. But the system will physically accommodate almost any speed light model using the included standard cold shoe mount. Also, no flash umbrella or other light diffusion device such as a lightbox are included, as those are also specific to your needs. But almost any light diffusion device can fit into the flash mounting bracket.
You can pick up the system from my house near the San Jose Airport. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction.
