For sale is a set of tripod legs with an integrated tripod head. This is an NAP Consumer Electronics Corporation brand, model V80056. This was manufactured in Japan. Complete details are listed below.
This is an extremely sturdy, but somewhat lightweight tripod, constructed of aluminum alloy. It has three leg sections that extend with twist locks. It has a geared center column. It can hold up to 20 pounds of camera gear. But it's still lightweight, weighing just 10 pounds.
It's just 26" long when folded for storage. When expanded, its maximum height with the center column down is 50". With the center column completely extended, its maximum height is 60".
The attached video head has the standard pan and tilt, which are independently controlled. The head also includes the ability for pivot the base plate 90 degrees for taking portrait-type still photos.
The legs are terminated with both rubber feet and spiked feet. You decide which type of feet you want.
The entire unit is in excellent condition, both functionally and cosmetically. Each leg segment opens and closes with ease. The twist locks are smooth, but lock with strength. The pan, tilt, and pivot mechanisms all work perfectly. There is nothing wrong with any part of the tripod legs or head.
As part of the purchase, I'll also include a compatible QR (quick-release) clamp and QR plate that allows you to easily and quickly connect your camera to the tripod. The QR clamp and plate are Neewer brand, model number QS-120. Both are about 4.7" long.
The QR clamp connects to the top of the tripod head, using the included 1/4" mounting screw. The QR plate connects to your camera gear, using the included 1/4" mounting screws. The clamp and plate are designed so that you can lock the plate into the clamp using the dial lever. The QR clamp and QR plate are arca compatible (38mm in depth) and will work with other acra compatible clamps and plates. Because the QR clamp is 4.7" long, you can easily move your camera gear forward and backwards to compensate for the weight of large lenses. This helps keep the center-of-mass of your camera gear directly above the tripod legs.
The QR clamp and QR plate are both new and neither have ever been used. Pictures 21 to 24 show the clamp and plate.
