Selling my DJI Osmo Pocket 3. NOT the creator combo
Device works as it should right out of the box. Just not the right fit for me. I bought it for the convenience factor, but after giving it multiple chances in real-world use, I found myself reaching for my phone instead. The panning and zooming speed, battery life, and lens distortion at the widest 20mm focal length just didn’t work for my shooting style. From what I’ve seen online, this device is better suited for people who plan their shots and use the object-tracking feature — something I never needed. One thing to note: if it’s stored at certain angles in a bag, even in the included hard protective case (which I always used), the lens housing can rotate outward and leave the lens exposed. Worth keeping in mind. I mostly took stills rather than video, and I’ll say that for such a small sensor, it delivers surprisingly solid dynamic range when editing DJI RAW files using the editing program's own RAW feature. Another plus to using the DJI OP3 versus my phone is that recording in DJI’s RAW video format takes up less space than Apple ProRes at 4K 60fps and I had the system default to writing video onto my external 256gb micro SD card. Overall, works perfectly, just not ideal for my workflow and how I shoot.
Under my ownership, it's a paperweight but I know a frequent traveler who doesn't want to lug around a mirrorless setup or a social media shorts content creator will benefit more from it. What's in pictures is what comes with the package from the manufacturer; hard cover case, wrist strap, and the holding block (detachable at the bottom for better grip of the device)
I'm letting this go for $650. Digital form of payment or new $100s/20s are fine. Buyer picks up.
