We’re a family-run construction company looking for an entry-level Payroll / Accounts Payable Admin to join our small, friendly team and keep the office (and the paychecks) running smoothly. No hard hat required—just a good attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. No corporate nonsense, no micromanaging— we’ve got a supportive team and dogs who believe they run the place.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Assist processing weekly payroll (making sure everyone gets paid on time = instant hero status)
• Entering invoices and making sure vendors get paid accurately and on time
• Keeping records tidy, organized, and audit-ready
• Helping track job costs, vendor payments, and basic accounting info
• Supporting the office team with general admin tasks
• Learning the ins and outs of construction accounting (don’t worry—we’ll train you)
• Providing emotional support to office dogs 😊
What We’re Looking For
• Basic knowledge of accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping
• Comfortable with computers and spreadsheets
• Detail-oriented and dependable—you notice the small stuff
• Willing to learn and ask questions
• Positive attitude and sense of humor (we take our work seriously, not ourselves)
• Dog-friendly is a must (they are coworkers, after all)
