Customer Service Representative
Downtown San Jose | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
We’re a small manufacturing company located in downtown San Jose, and we’re looking for a dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, comfortable multitasking, and enjoys working in a busy office environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting customers and sales reps, processing orders, and keeping our daily work and shipment schedules running smoothly. If you’re detail-oriented and strong with Excel, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Handle general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, taking messages, and greeting customers, visitors, and vendors
Communicate with customers regarding orders and delivery status via phone, email, and text
Process sales orders and perform accurate data entry
Maintain a daily calendar for work orders and shipments
Update and manage daily spreadsheets using Excel (Excel proficiency is required)
Help keep the office clean and organized
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in customer service, order processing, and/or administrative work
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office
Punctual, reliable, and well-organized
Able to manage multiple tasks and work well with a team
Spanish-speaking is a plus
Pay & Benefits:
Pay: Based on experience
Benefits: Sick pay offered; vacation pay available after one full year
