Office Assistant – Afternoon Position (South Bay / San Jose Area)
Summit Remodeling is seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant to support daily office operations during afternoon hours. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional, environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated team member with strong communication skills and attention to detail who can help ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Position Details
• Employment type: Part-time (Afternoon hours)
• Experience level: Entry level to 1–2 years preferred
• Location: South Bay / San Jose area
• Compensation: DOE
Responsibilities include:
• Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude when needed.
• Answer phones professionally and route calls as needed
• Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness
• Assist with general administrative support
• Maintain accurate office records and correspondence
• Track and maintain office supplies
• Support team members with day-to-day office coordination
• Help ensure administrative duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Ideal Candidate:
• Has strong phone and email communication skills
• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrates reliability and professionalism
• Is comfortable supporting multiple tasks in a busy office environment
• Quickbooks knowledge a Must.
Experience in construction, remodeling, or real estate offices is helpful but not required.
