Open invitation to all violinists (15 yrs-??) interested in playing mariachi music. Mariachi San José is an official ensemble/class in the School of Music at San José State University open to all students regardless of major. The ensemble also invites members of the Bay Area community to participate. Experience in mariachi is not needed only a desire to learn. If you play violin and would like to participate, the class meets T/Th 6-8 pm at SJSU. Since this is a University ensemble, the invitation is open to violinists no younger than 15 years of age please.
