DRUMMER needed for pro late '90s /early '00s tribute (san jose downtown)

**AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING CANDIDATES WHO ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE PHOTOS/VIDEOS OR AUDIO OF THEMSELVES PERFORMING.**

We are 3/5 of the band Night Train (www.nighttrainrocks.com), a professional cover band formed in 2012 focused on hard rock, alt rock, and 'popular' metal. We've performed at private parties, corporate events of all sizes (including for several Fortune 500 companies), weddings, and of course every major club in the Bay Area.

Check out some recent videos we shot on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/nighttrainrockssf

2019 was a good year; we turned our strongest profit ever (not that that's the focus, but it sure is nice), and looked forward to what 2020 would bring. You know what 2020 brought.

Night Train still exists, but the reality is that our market fit isn't what it used to be. The people making booking decisions are younger; hair metal and Nirvana are things they vaguely recall from early childhood--but not what excites them.

So, we're trying something different. A cover act rooted in the turn of the millennium (mostly 1997-2009ish), with a splash of mid-90s alt classics. Sampling of the songs we'd be playing:

Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows
System of a Down - Aerials
Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff
Blur - Song No 2
Killers - Somebody Told Me
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Linkin Park - Numb
Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson
Disturbed - Down With The Sickness
Paramore - Misery Business
RHCP - Dani California
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Evanescence - Bring Me To Life

This is a brand new project, but we're all professionals and we've all been working together professionally for years, so getting something off the ground isn't particularly difficult. If you're looking for a band that's already gigging, this isn't the one; it will take at least a few months to master a set, record some strong audio and video, and develop a rock solid promo package. And of course, there's the risk that in this economic environment, opportunities for this band end up being just as limited as they ended up being for Night Train. We're just testing a theory. But we're willing to put time, effort, and money behind it--all we need you to do is SLAY on drums.

We plan to rehearse about once every 2-3 weeks in San Jose. If you want to come and test the waters with us, holler.

- Michael, Ashton, Travis
