The cleans and reverb are absolutely unreal with the modified circuits and upgraded tank.
The extension speaker jack was converted into a variable negative feedback control to allow the amp to get super vintage clean to boosted sustaining lead tones.
The gain architecture on the drive channel has been dialed in and the clean channel has been dialed in as well.
The reverb mod involves an upgraded reverb driver, a new 3-spring tank and modified driver circuit values to dial in an awesome long delay black face era style reverb with much more depth and warmth to it than the stock HRD reverb has.
Some extra steps were taken to improve the reliability of the amp as well.
The current speakers are an 8ohm 10" Celestion Creamback and an 8ohm 10" Weber California Alnico JBL D-110 clone.
I also have a Weber Mod 10/70 if you prefer a Jensen/Celestion greenback type hybrid speaker in place of the California Alnico.
