I help curate the auctions for these one of a kind modified pedals. Grey Lab Research spends a lot of time with the Klon Centaur circuit and improves the overall function and tone to make some really awesome customized versions of it that sound much better than the stock pedals imho.
This particular build features:
-More tube like warmth and coloration.
-Custom hybrid clipping architecture utilizing ultra-rare harmonically rich Hungarian germanium diodes with a specific hand matched forward voltage that sound the most tube like of any of the diodes they've tested in these pedals and combine them in tandem with a custom clipping circuit for the ultimate overdrive tones. The custom clipping circuit is internally switchable to go back to pure germanium clipping.
-Improved EQ shaping and signal fidelity.
-Improved road reliability.

There's a lifetime warranty for all Grey Lab Research pedals in case anything happens to the pedal outside of the scope of normal wear and tear or damage from improper use. They also service Klon Centaur pedals too if you own an original that needs repair.
