Vintage H. A. Weymann & Son Philadelphia "Keystone State" Bb Cornet from the early 1900's.
This Shepard's crook design cornet is in excellent condition and very attractive engraving on the top of the bell all the way to the valves.
Believed to be a pre 1904 Buescher Stencil design.
This cornet is designed to play in Bb AND in the key of A by just adjusting the tuning slides.
I am selling it for $150 instead of $1500 because I believe it to be a reproduction. You can decide for yourself.
It is a playable instrument, but It would probably make a very attractive wall hanging of a very rare and attractive instrument.
Does not come with a case or mouthpiece. The mouthpiece receiver is slightly smaller than current modern American design. But you can just get a cornet mouthpiece into the receiver to try it out if you want
