✅ This is a vintage analog overdrive pedal produced between 1986 and 1998, made in USA.
✅ It's said to be "characterized by a 'rough-around-the-edges' analog sound that straddles the line between warm overdrive and unrefined distortion. While it lacks the smooth midrange hump of a Tube Screamer, it excels at providing a gritty, chunky push that can transition into a "howling beast" or fuzz-like tone when the drive is maxed out."
✅ It functions just fine. No issues.
✅ I'm not an expert, but it reminds me of Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen and Metal sounds. Not AC/DC, though.
✅ Someone had painted the case silver at one point, but it was carefully stripped away to reveal the original, true colors. Unfortunately, some of the silkscreen printing came off as well in some spots. Some specks of silver can still be seen in some areas. Not too noticeable.
✅ The battery door was missing, so a 3D-printed one is in its place. Better than the ugly tape many people are using. The black one looks better, but both are included, though still not the prettiest thing.
