The Meteora is one of the coolest shapes Fender has released in recent years and this is an awesome rendition
SPECS/UPGRADES:
- Lightweight custom USA-made
Northern Pine body sprayed in Crystal Green nitrocellulose lacquer (Kind of a darker/more foresty version of Sherwood Green) with finish checking / closet queen relic job
- Fender Coronado neck - Maple/Rosewood, fingerboard edges rolled, frets leveled and polished, pearloid inlays aged, fretboard
oiled +conditioned +relic waxed for that oily, smooth vintage feel and lasting dark hue. Back of neck finish lightly sanded with 2000 grit to remove "sticky" feel
- Matching headcap / custom designed "Feelgood Deathcaster" headstock decal
- Eric Custom Hand-wound
Jazzmaster Pickups - Some of the best sounding Jazzmaster Pickups I've heard. Bridge resistance - 8K, Neck resistance 7.2K // Wax potted (parafin & beeswax mix) Alnico V
magnets, Beveled top rod.
- CTS/Fender 1Meg pots / standard jaguar style switching/ control layout
- Aged Fender 70s style tuners
- 9.5" radius Mustang bridge.
Screws secured w/ blue loctite to eliminate common buzz and rattle from adjustment screws.
- Fender Classic Player
Jazzmaster tremolo (threaded vibrato arm, secured w/ blue loctite for tight fit, no buzzing, stays in place when not in use)
- Aged white plastics, witch hat knobs, Fender "F" neck plate
- Internal cavities and back of guard shielded with conductive copper tape for maximum hum reduction
- Fresh setup
- Tasteful relic job complete with lightly aged metal parts, aged clear nitro topcoat, finish checking etc.
