SMT Operator Needed for Day Shift! Lots of overtime opportunity!
Job Description
As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for manually assembling systems using torque drivers and hardware to a specified volume, performing load functions on hardware, soldering components onto circuit boards, and functionally testing completed systems. You will also be responsible for pulling necessary materials from flow racks, back flushing operations on the computer operating systems, and conducting Pass/Fail tests on products.
Responsibilities:
Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware.
Perform load functions on hardware.
Solder resistors, transistors, and transmitters onto circuit boards.
Functionally test completed systems according to work processes.
Pull necessary materials from flow racks.
Back flush operations on computer operating systems.
Conduct Pass/Fail tests on products.
Essential Skills:
Experience with SMT machines and machine operation.
Ability to read blueprints and perform soldering.
Knowledge of circuit boards, surface mount technology, and electro-mechanical systems.
Proficiency in PCB assembly, general assembly, and thru-hole soldering.
Experience in testing circuits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable standing for long periods.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
Proficient in handling small parts.
Flexibility to work on weekends.
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, M-F + Weekends as needed for OT, must be comfortable starting as early as 3am
