Grinder Operator – Precision Sheet Metal
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Type: Full-time | Pay: Competitive (DOE)
Our Morgan Hill shop is looking for a skilled, self-motivated Grinder Operator to join our quality-driven team. We handle high-paced, precision work and need someone who takes pride in their work.
What You’ll Do:
• Operate grinders, sanders and other powered tools to remove welds and surface imperfection on frames and heavy Sheetmetal parts.
• Maintain proper care of powered tools and machinery.
• Basic knowledge of blueprints/drawings.
• Manage job flow using our ERP system to accurately track job progress (log-in/log-out).
• Must pay close attention to creating accurate finished product.
• Knowledge of the use of stroke sander is plus.
• Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by department supervisor.
What You Need:
• 3+ years of precision sheet metal experience preferred.
• Proficient in working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• A reliable, "team-first" attitude and a sharp eye for detail.
