POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Graphic Designer with architectural or environmental design experience to support our signage projects from concept through permitting.
This role combines graphic design, architectural coordination, field survey work, and permit documentation. The designer will collaborate with our sales team and clients to develop accurate and visually compelling signage solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Emphasis on professional logo designs for clients (NO T-SHIRT OR CARTOON DESIGN)
- Strong background in working with vector outlines (mostly used for designing / drawing for architectural signage)
- Prepare comprehensive designs, layouts, and illustrations for projects with written or verbal instructions from client
- Develop submittal packages for client and architectural review and permit
- Communicate with customers, as needed, regarding digital proofs and approvals
- Proof customers' artwork to identify potential errors prior to starting job
- Inspect artwork for accuracy.
- Responsible for all marketing materials
- Assist with sign production such as operate plotter/router/laser/laminate/mounting, when needed.

- Must be an organized, independent worker with good time management skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Coreldraw and SketchUp (preferred)
