I am a master tutor, and I am here to help your student perform to his or her maximum potential. For over fifteen years, I have used my listening and teaching skills to bring out the best in my students, and I can use this experience to guide your son or daughter. Typically, I focus on liberal arts subjects, including English, AP Lit or Lang, AP World History, AP US History, and Math. Using a tutor can maximize both learning and grades.
I earned a graduate degree from Harvard University, and I adapt my teaching style to each unique student. Additionally, I have lived overseas for five years, so I have a specialty helping students who have English as a second language (ESL). I am also an expert SAT and ACT tutor.
I can help you with the following:

Individualized Tutoring
Each student is different and I listen carefully so that our sessions are most productive. There is no substitute for one-on-one tutoring.
Short Term or Long Term
Some students have stayed with me their entire high school career. Others need just a bit of help to complete a difficult assignment.
Rates
Individualized tutoring costs $75/hr online or $100/hr in person. For online tutoring I use google docs and a whiteboard program, which works very well.
