Hello!
I am offering both virtual and in-person lessons for academic tutoring and mentoring for students in math, standardized testing, college admissions help & planning, and more.
Having graduated at the top of my class in high school and having graduated from Stanford University with an engineering master's degree in 2020, I am confident in my ability in a number of academic subjects, namely math.
I have tutored both peers and middle school and high school students in the local and broader communities for 8 years now and have extensive familiarity with virtual learning and how to best tackle the nuances associated with that.
I would be happy to work with you and your student in helping them achieve a better understanding and confidence in their mathematics. I very much cherish being able to help students through their middle school and high school years and help them to reach whatever goal they wish to achieve post-high school.
For college application or essay help, I am quite familiar with the process and what admissions generally look for -- I can provide edits for drafts of essays as well as follow-up live workshopping with your student to go over the edits and give the essays a high level of polish.
I can provide suggestions and edits for essays at a rate of $60/essay (for essays ~350 words).
If you'd like I can also provide a live workshop to go through the edits and suggestions for you to best tailor the prompts to fit your own writing style, tone, and narrative.
Live workshopping will be conducted through Google Meet and is billed at an hourly rate of $85/hour.
For essay help, I will ask to arrange a half-deposit - live sessions will be billed afterward.
