Sigura Construction is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer service oriented Construction Driver & Delivery Specialist to support our field operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to our job sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate company pickup trucks and other authorized company vehicles.
2. Purchase construction materials, supplies, and equipment according to project managers' and job site material lists.
3. Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to multiple job sites accurately and on schedule.
4. Pick up materials from suppliers, vendors, and warehouses as needed.
5. Verify quantities and inspect materials before accepting or delivering them.
6. Assist with loading and unloading materials while ensuring safe handling practices.
7. Maintain organized inventory of company tools, equipment, and commonly used materials.
8. Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, purchases, receipts, and inventory transactions.
9.Communicate regularly with project managers, superintendents, office staff, and field personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and changing project needs.
Qualifications
1. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Ability to safely operate a full size pickup truck.
3. Previous experience in construction material delivery, warehouse, or construction industry preferred.
4. Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment is highly desirable.
5. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds safely.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
