Position Summary:
The Groundskeeper assists the Head Groundskeeper in maintaining the football fields and grounds of the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium and the 49ers' training facility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintains the fields and grounds, mows, edges, and trims.
Paints the field.
Applies fertilizer, sand, and pest control products.
Assists in irrigation maintenance and troubleshooting.
Practices preventative maintenance of all equipment.
Ensures that grounds are free of trash and debris.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills:
Ability to focus on a speaker using verbal and non-verbal clues to understand their message, comprehend the information, and respond thoughtfully.
Creative and innovative; the ability to see alternatives and solutions.
Ability to achieve planned objectives through completing relevant tasks and focus.
Spanish-speaking preferred.
Education and Experience:
2+ years of experience in groundskeeping and landscaping required.
Experience in sports turf maintenance preferred.
