We are open to either arrangement:
TRADITIONAL BOARD & TRAIN
The dog stays with you in your private home while you provide daily care, exercise, structure, supervision, and positive-reinforcement training.
Compensation:
$100 per day, per dog
Qualified applicants may host one or two appropriately matched dogs at a time.
• One dog: $700 per week
• Two dogs: Up to $1,400 per week
REVERSE BOARD & TRAIN / LIVE-IN TRAINING
You stay in the client’s home and provide daily training, care, exercise, structure, and supervision.
Compensation:
$130–$175 per day
Starting compensation will be $130 or $150 per day, depending on experience.
Compensation may increase to $175 per day for behavior modification cases or assignments involving an additional dog.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
• Uses humane, positive-reinforcement methods
• Is dependable, patient, communicative, and responsible
• Understands canine body language
• Can provide daily training, exercise, care, and supervision
• Is available to begin soon
• Lives in or can serve Mountain View, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Santa Clara, Los Altos, Redwood City, or surrounding areas
Professional trainers are encouraged to apply.
We are also open to experienced:
• Assistant dog trainers
• Pet-care professionals
• Veterinary assistants
• Rescue and foster professionals
• Dog walkers or pet sitters with strong training experience
• Experienced dog handlers ready for greater opportunities
Additional client opportunities may be available for trainers who are a strong fit.
