Volt is immediately hiring for Printed Circuit Board Assemblers in Milpitas, CA.
Clean Room experience is preferred but not required.
As a PCB Assembler you will:
• Assemble, wire, and test electromechanical devices according to specifications.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble components.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues in assembled products.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies.
This is a Full-Time Temp to Hire opportunity. Schedule: Monday - Friday +Overtime
1st shift - 6am - 2:30pm
2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11pm
The ideal candidate will have:
• Perform complex technical tasks, troubleshoot assembly issues and work under a microscope.
• Clean room experience
• Previous experience as an PCB assembler.
• Use precision hand tools, perform repetitive assembly operations and communicate effectively with team members.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Some experience with soldering and crimping techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent hand dexterity
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Comfortable working with small and delicate materials
• Ability to follow written instructions provided by the manufacturer to build the final product
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
2nd Shift earns 10% shift premium
