This set of 4 vintage, pure Aqua Blue Dessert Dishes and 4 matching Aqua Blue Salad Plates was created in Mexico about 65 years ago, and has never been used. The incredible Aqua Blue color is fascinating, and is a product of Mexican ingenuity in the glass blowing technique. Mexican glassware is also called Mexican bubble glass because of the tiny bubbles produced while the artists are hand blowing and shaping the molten glass. Each piece is unique with slight variations in bubble patterns throughout the glass.
