Gene Huwitt’s The Clean Air Machine. Black Plastic. Perhaps a prototype. Gene Huwitt has some of his colorful mid 1960’s Minimalist boxes are displayed at the MOMA in New York. I haven’t seen another one like it. Plug it in and fresh air blows thru the tiny nozzles at top. The red light turns on when plugged in. Gene Huwitt’s company, AMAC Plastics Products Corp. Sausalito, Calif. is still in production. Size: 6 1/2” x 2 1/2”.
