I am a 45-year-old single female looking for a quiet studio, cottage/mother-in-law or 1 bedroom apartment to rent. I work in the VTA administration in north San Jose. I don't have a car, so I want to live within walking access to the blue/green lightrail lines. I would like to find a place downtown, in Japantown or off of the Alameda.
A little about me: I am single and recently divorced. I don't drink, use drugs or smoke-I am in active recovery and just celebrated 18 months. I don't have pets. I belong to a hiking as well as a movie group, which I attend on a weekly basis. I love to read, cook and practice meditation and yoga. I also enjoy going to cultural events and enjoying all the public artwork in San Jose. I am clean, considerate, quiet and seek low drama. When I am not using public transit, I like to ride my bike for chores. Pretty much, I stay busy and when I am home, I want to cocoon and rejuvenate.
I am looking for a quiet, beautiful studio, cottage/mother in law or 1 bedroom apartment with good light and laundry access. I can afford up to $1800 per month with utilities included in that amount. I would like to pay closer to $1500.
I can furnish references as well as income verification. I recently passed a background check to start my position with VTA. I do not have good credit because I am waiting for my house to sell and my divorce estate to settle. I do not have any evictions. I can provide the result of my background check and my credit report as well. If I sound like a good fit, please send me information about your rental.
