About 4 weeks ago, my son’s daycare held an animal event and the staff asked families to take the chicks home afterward. We took in 5 chicks and have been caring for them. We’re now hoping to find them a good long-term home.

They are young, active, and healthy. We are not sure yet how many are hens or roosters because they are still too young to tell reliably.

We would prefer they go to someone with experience keeping chickens, or someone who has a safe coop/run setup. We’d be happy to share what feed/care routine we’ve been using.

Located in San Jose. Please message me if you’re interested or know someone who can give them a safe home.
