TL;DR: Large, solid mahogany table, needs to be refinished, going for a song!
We have a large coffee table for sale. We bought it about 15 years ago. It's solid mahogany, but has a nearly opaque brown finish on it. The finish is pretty dinged up (kids!) and needs to be completely sanded off. This should be a relatively easy project for someone with a hand sander and a few hours of time.
I am 100% sure the raw wood looks nicer than this finish. Hit it with some Danish oil and it will be gorgeous.
Structurally it is in great condition - it's a tank. 28" x 52" with a thick top and CHUNKY legs. Could make an awesome play table for kids or a coffee table for the living room. It is pretty heavy.
I am letting this go for a steal because it needs the refinishing work and I don't have the time to put into it. I bet someone could refinish this and resell it for 4x to 5x the price.
