Got this set in 2015 from previous owner. We almost never used it, since we put it in living room, but we mostly use another sofa in family room. Then when I moved, I wrapped it and kept in my garage. All reclining functions work perfectly. No tears. Only normal wear on the armrests (slightly fading). Very comfortable and solid. From smoke-free, pet-free family.
