French Provincial Kidney-Shaped Leather-Top Cherry-Wood Coffee Table - $600 (san jose downtown)

For sale is a coffee table, which is intended to be used in your living room. But you can also use it in other settings and for other functions. It's a very large and long coffee table for an extremely large room.
The coffee table is mainly from the French provincial genre of furniture with lots of curved features and round edges. The entire table is shaped like a kidney. More precisely, it's a flat kidney with four curved legs. The four table legs are cabriole style, where the knees curve outward and the ankles curve inward, terminating in ornamental feet. The ornamentation on other sections is nuanced and not too aggressive. The color of nearly all visible surfaces is tan / light brown.
The table is mostly constructed of genuine cherry wood. This is solid cherry wood and not just veneer over MDF. There are no metal screws or nails used in its construction for support. The top surface wood is one solid piece, as are the four legs. The top surface is constructed of genuine leather that is robustly glued and secured to the wooden base beneath it. The leather is somewhat soft to the touch. Because so much wood is used, this is slightly heavy table, weighing about 30 pounds.
As mentioned above, this is a very large and long coffee table for an extremely large room. Since it is kidney shaped, it's slightly hard to measure the precise dimensions of the table. At its maximum, the table is 55.5" wide. At the extreme edges of the table, it's 22.5" deep. At the center point of the table, it's 17.5" deep. The top surface of the table rests 15" off of the ground. There is a 0.5" tall lip surrounding nearly the entire top surface. Including this lip, the maximum height of the table is 15.5". The empty space underneath the top surface is about 10" tall. Overall, the entire footprint of this table measures about 55.5" wide, 27" deep, and 15.5" tall.
I am downsizing and this is no longer being used. The unit is in excellent condition. Structurally, it's still in incredibly robust condition, with no wood warping or fatigue.
Cosmetically, everything is also in excellent condition. There are some very small scratches on some wood surfaces from normal wear. The leather top has some small smudges, also from normal wear. These cosmetic issues don't significantly detract from the beauty of the wood or the leather.
You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. You can probably fit this into a standard sized passenger car. But an SUV or truck will likely work better for transport.
