I was cleaning-out my dad's garage when I found this big guy. I brought it home and realized that I need 12 AA batteries! Looks like there's an option for external power... I had to open up a few remote controls in our home to find 12 batteries and I was pleasantly surprised that the radio powered-up. My dad said he used it several times and it always worked very well...
