'STRYKER' is a beautiful young boy and a great eater. He's very pretty and weighs about 250 grams. His morph is called a 'NORMAL', which means he is similar to the wild type of Ball Python found in South Africa.
Ball Pythons are a docile, slow-moving snake and are really easy to keep as a pet and to handle. They are the most common pet snake in the world. Watch this on Youtube: https://youtu.be/BtNAjbLvn5I
You must have a place to keep him. Ball Pythons need a hot spot to digest their food, high humidity, and a place to hide. They are typically very shy and live in rodent holes or termite mounds in nature. I keep mine in 'drawers' in a snake rack. The drawers mimic the holes that they live in naturally and they do really well in drawers or bins, as long as heat is added.
Stryker eats frozen thawed rats, and he never passes up a meal. The most difficult thing about keeping a Ball Python as a pet is sometimes, they won't eat. In fact, they can go long periods of time without eating, and that is sometimes worrisome, although it's very normal.
Stryker is a nice boy and he's a beautiful boy, but he only has the normal gene, and I breed fancy Ball Pythons, so I'm not going to breed him because he will just produce more normals. And normals are inexpensive pet snakes and generally not used for breeding.
