NorCal Staffing is seeking qualified professionals for catered events, trade shows, corporate functions, and venue support.
Compensation: $20.00–$30.00/hour. W-2 (no 1099 gigs)
Shifts: AM & PM available | Flexible schedule | Travel pay offered for many shifts

Now Hiring:
Brand Ambassadors-
Greet and engage attendees in a professional, approachable manner
Represent and promote client brands with confidence and energy
Distribute promotional materials, samples, or giveaways
Assist with booth setup, breakdown, and maintaining a clean presentation
Capture attendee leads and scan badges accurately
Provide basic product/service information and direct guests to demos or presentations
Support sales teams and event managers in driving booth traffic and engagement
Maintain professional appearance and uphold client brand standards throughout the event.
Bartenders:
(Must have RBS Certification & bar tools)-
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to client standards. Verify guest IDs to ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws. Handle cash or POS transactions quickly and accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the shift. Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 6 months of bartending experience is required.
Waitstaff:
(Must have Food Handler Card & RBS Certification)-
Serve food and beverages, bus tables, relay orders, and assist with setup and breakdown. Must be customer-focused and fast on your feet. A minimum of six months of experience in banquet, catering, or restaurant settings is required to be considered.
Prep Cooks-
Support back-of-house operations—prep ingredients, follow food safety protocols, and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
A minimum of six months of experience in banquet, catering, or restaurant settings is required to be considered.
Dishwashers-
Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen surfaces. Keep a steady flow of clean items available during service.
Guest Registration Staff-
Welcome and check in attendees, manage guest lists, provide information, and assist with name badges and crowd flow.
Requirements:
*Must have a current resume to be considered.
*90 days of prior experience in events, catering, restaurants, or hospitality
*Valid CA Food Handler Card (required for food service roles)
*RBS Certification (required for bartenders and waitstaff)
*Reliable transportation
*Clean, professional appearance (no facial tattoos or excessive piercings)
*Ability to work on your feet and in fast-paced environments
*Excellent customer service and communication skills

Uniform Guidelines:
*Waitstaff/Bartenders: Black pants (no jeans/yoga), solid black long-sleeve button-up, solid black tie, black slip-resistant shoes. We provide vests and ties.
*Prep Cooks/Dishwashers: Black pants (no jeans/yoga), solid black T-shirt (no logos), black slip-resistant shoes. Chef coat and knives optional.
