Never used, still in the original boxes. Probably great for a Nakamichi lover.
Nakamichi Black Box PS-100 Power Supply: This module was the required power source for other modules in the Black Box series. It provided a regulated plus and minus 10 volts DC at 200 mA to the other modules via a 4-pin DIN cable. Additionally, it supplied a mute signal for a brief period after power-up and power-down to compatible modules.
Nakamichi Black Box MX-100 Microphone Mixer: This was a high-quality microphone preamplifier with three inputs (left, right, and blend/center), each with its own mix level controls. Its primary use was to facilitate live recordings, particularly with tape decks lacking built-in microphone inputs (such as the Nakamichi 600 Cassette Console). The output of the MX-100 could be connected to the line inputs of most tape decks or directly to the auxiliary inputs of a preamplifier/amplifier for public address applications. It could also increase the number of microphone inputs on decks with mic/line mixing capabilities, like the Nakamichi 1000, 700, and 500, by connecting to their line inputs, allowing for a total of 6 microphone inputs. The MX-100 also featured a built-in muting circuit to eliminate turn-on thumps.
