Set of Six Martin Logan Brand Speakers for a Home Theater System - $600 (san jose downtown)

For sale is a set of six (6) Martin Logan brand audio speakers. These speakers are intended to be used together as part of a 5.1 home theater surround sound system. The collection of six speakers was marketed by Martin Logan as a single system with model number MLT-2.
The six speakers are divided into the following, which are part of a standard 5.1 home theater surround sound system:
Speaker #1: Front Left Channel
Speaker #2: Front Center Channel
Speaker #3: Front Right Channel
Speaker #4: Rear Left Channel
Speaker #5: Rear Right Channel
Speaker #6: Subwoofer
The first five of these are small and light satellite speakers, which are, by convention, to be placed in front of or behind your listening position. These five speakers handle the upper-range and mid-range sounds. The final speaker is the large and heavy subwoofer, which can be placed almost anywhere in your listening room, but usually in a corner of the room. The subwoofer handles the low range. When working together, these six speakers create sounds that surround your listening position.
Four of these speakers have identical technical specifications. These are front left channel speaker, front right channel speaker, rear left channel speaker, and rear right channel speaker. Each one of these speakers measures 4.625" wide, 5.75" deep, and 7.75" tall. Each speaker weighs 6 pounds. Each speaker has a two-way design with a single 1" soft dome tweeter and a single 4.5" poly cone mid-range driver. Complete technical specifications of these speakers are listed below. Pictures 2 to 9 shows closeups of one of these speakers. The other three are of identical condition.
The front center channel speaker has slightly different specifications from the above front / rear speakers. The center channel speaker measures 12" wide, 5.5" deep, and 4.25" tall. It weighs 8 pounds. This speaker has a two-way design with a single 1" soft dome tweeter and dual 3.5" poly cone mid-range drivers. Complete technical specifications of this speaker are listed below. The subwoofer module is much larger than the above satellite speakers and has completely different specifications. It measures 11.5" wide, 15.5" deep, and 16" tall. It weighs 25 pounds. It has a huge 10" paper cone woofer that is powered by a built-in 120-watt power amplifier. Complete technical specifications of the subwoofer are listed below. Pictures 19 to 23 shows closeups of the subwoofer.
When taken as a system, all six speakers have an overall frequency range of 37Hz to 20kHz (±3dB). The sound quality is audiophile-quality. When I purchased these new from Magnolia Audio, the system costs $1,200 (plus tax).
All speakers are in excellent functional condition. There is nothing wrong with any of them. Before purchase, you can feel free to test each and every speaker to confirm that they all work perfectly.
Cosmetically, all speakers are also in excellent condition. There are some tiny scratches on some exterior surfaces of some speakers. But these cosmetic issues don't harm the performance of the speakers.
Besides the six speakers, you'll also get the original cardboard box. See Picture 24.
Please note that no speaker wire is included with the sale. And no receiver or amplifier is included with the sale. You're only purchasing the six speakers.
