I have an integrated power amplifier / receiver for sale, which can be used in a home theater system. This is a Primare brand, model SPA-21, designed in Sweden. This is an audiophile-quality multi-channel amplifier with audio switching and volume control. This weighs 50 pounds. It was priced at $4,000 when new! More critical technical details are listed below. Please see Pictures 17 to 24 for complete technical details.
This has 5-channels of power that outputs 100 watts per channel for a total of 500 watts at 8 Ohms (5x100). This has five (5) sets of analog stereo audio inputs, four (4) sets of multi-channel digital audio inputs, and one (1) multi-channel (7.1) analog input. It also has several audio outputs (analog, digital, pre-amp). Finally, it has several composite, S-Video, and components video inputs / outputs, which can be useful for configuring the system to your liking using an external monitor for display.
The amp is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and functionally. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this device. I would be happy to test it in front of you until you're satisfied that it works perfectly. Or you can bring your own equipment (speakers and a sound source) for the test. You'll get the amplifier and an electrical cable. The original cardboard box is not available.
Please note that all Primare amplifiers tend to heat up when on. This is by design, because some of their internal components are class 'A'. I would suggest having enough air space around this amp for proper ventilation, so placing it in a cramped audio cabinet is not suggested. I had this placed in a large, vented closet.
You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction.
