For sale is an audiophile-quality multi-channel processor and pre-amp intended for home theater systems. This is a Sony brand pre-amplifier, from their ES (Elevated Standard) series, model number TA-E9000ES. More complete technical details are listed below. And technical details from the product manual are shown in Pictures 15 to 23.
Please note that this does NOT have any built-in power amplification, so you must connect this to an audio power amplifier to output sound to standard speakers.
What this does have is an exceptional digital-to-analog converter (DAC), Class A audio switching, and state of the art volume control to make for incredible sound quality.
This pre-amp has multiple analog and digital sound audio inputs (including a turntable phono input). It also has composite video and s-video inputs for older video sources. Of course, it has a 6-channel pre-amp output that connects to a power amp.
The pre-amp processor is in excellent functional condition and there is nothing functionally wrong with it. You can feel free to test it before purchase to confirm that it works perfectly. Cosmetically, it is also in excellent condition with no scratches, smudges, discoloration, or imperfections on any exterior panels. Besides the pre-amp, you'll also get the original wireless remote control and the product manual. I no longer have the original cardboard box.
If you need a compatible power amplifier, I happen to have a five-channel Sony TA-N9000ES amp for sale for $1,000. The E9000ES pre-amp and N9000ES amp were purchased together and are intended to work as a collective unit. Please feel free to inquire about the amp.
