Up for sale, a rare and superb condition vintage McIntosh 4275 receiver that was sold in the late 80's.
This is a superb sounding amp with a beautiful sound stage, very similar to other Mcintosh amps of mine worth 10 times the asking price of this classic.
There are separate MC and MM phono circuits. An equalizer covers three bands. And there is a preamp out to supply signal to amplifiers other than the the 4275's own amp.
Built like a Mcintosh and designed for the long run. Both channels put out more (89wpc) than the specified 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms, which is enough to drive all but the stone deaf out of a large room. Distortion is a low .03%.
Comes from a smoke free, pet free home and has been well maintained with light use.
No issues, cosmetically or operationally..
