JOB SUMMARY: Temporary position with a durion of 5-8 months

Essential Functions

• Manages EHS programs and initiives to meet regulory requirements and EHS needs of client account.
  • Maintain ISO, OSHA equivalent and/or ICS certificion as required.
• Implement provided Health and Safety programs the site level including but not limited to:
  • Site metrics
  • Regulory documention
  • H&S audits and risk assessments
  • Awareness training
  • Incident investigion
  • Ergonomic evaluions
  • Investige employee safety concerns supported by local branch.
• Reports any deficiencies in the above to local branch.
• Responds timely to additional requests from onsite management.
• Coordines the site Emergency Response Team (ERT):
  • Recruit and train ERT members
  • Coordine quarterly practice sessions.
  • With assistance from required parties, facilities site wide evacuion drills.
• Aid in Pandemic Response:
  • Assist Return to Office initiives
  • Assist with contact tracing and investigions of Covid-19 case transmission as needed
• Report informion as required to onsite management.
• Respond as needed during “after hours” emergencies. 
• Deploy awareness training to promote safety culture in the workplace.
• Maintain site EHS metrics and distribute as required. 
• Collabore with Security and Workplace to monitor standards and regulions.
• Process documents and report periodically to program management teams to identify hidden risks or nonconformity issues.
• Conduct regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) audits and inspections in a timely manner and submit to the approprie party.
• Track and report progress on health and safety observions arising from monitoring activities , audits and incidents. 
• Make sure sites have easy access to EHS documention such as Safety Da Sheet binder, Evacuion maps, etc. (coordine with FM partners as needed).
• Using provided meeting technology, schedule and facilite a variety of meetings and webinars to dissemine ghered informion.
• Maintain a client service approach to problem-solving of health and safety concerns.
• Investige workplace incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Communice concerns, issues, and recommended resolutions to EHS stakeholders and the Management.
• Provides health and safety support for events, both onsite and offsite. 
• May travel to other sites as needed.
• Directly line manages team members within assigned area.
• Indirectly manages, assigning and appraising tasks and providing guidance and support to, safety and security officers within assigned area. 
• Supports global and regional level projects and initiives as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:

Additional qualificions may be specified and receive preference, depending upon nure of position.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

• Must be least 18 years of age.

• Must have a reliable means of communicion.

• Must have a reliable means of transportion (public or prive)

• Must have the legal right to work in USA

• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

• Must be willing to participe in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in HSE from four-year college or university, or sufficient training, experience or combinion to substitute for degree. Minimum of 5 years of reled experience.

• Demonstred knowledge of federal, ste and local health and safety, and environmental regulions is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred. 

• ISO 45001 management standard experience is a plus.

• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures.

• Intermedie knowledge of Microsoft Office applicions including Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, as well as SharePoint.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Have a current passport or be able to obtain one. 

• Able to travel (internional or domestic, as required) approximely 25% of the time or more, occasionally with limited notice. 

• Able to work evening or weekend hours when required, such as during an emergency or high-priority event.
