• Goal: To grow the game of tennis by getting kids to actually play the game of tennis as quickly as possible; introduce families to local quality tennis pros, and help kids get ready to play High School tennis. You can help YLT grow the game of tennis through youth in your community.
You can coach at 1 - 3 sites per weekend. We run Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Sessions. Each session runs for 8 weeks. Fall Session starts Sept 27 and 28th. We are looking to hire tennis coaches ages 18 and older to teach back-to-back groups of kids for our upcoming session at:
• Mountain View High, Saturdays - coach: 3pm-5pm
• Napa Valley High, Saturdays - coach: 4pm-7:30pm
• Irvington High, Fremont, Sundays - coach: 10am-12pm
• DeAnza College, Cupertino, Sundays - coach: 12:30pm-2:30pm
• West Valley College, Saratoga, Sundays - coach: 5:30pm-7:30pm
*We customize shifts based on your availability.
All coaches are hired as part time employees and if driving more than 20 minutes each way, we compensate for drive time as well, by reimbursing $5 per 20 minute drive to a site. Assistant Coaches are paid: $20/hour - $35/hour depending upon experience
We are looking for reliable, positive, personable, engaging, energetic individuals who want to help grow the game of tennis and enjoy working with kids. We would love to talk to anyone who played at a 4.0 level or higher! This is also a perfect job for coaches or college students looking for part-time work, to expand your network, and/or meet additional families in your area! We also hire High School Juniors and Seniors who have experience coaching clinics and camps.
We provide: pee wee tennis nets, tennis balls for each level, personalized medals, and progress reports for all participants. Kids bring their own rackets.
