Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
About Us:
Rose’s Kiddie Corner is a licensed, home-based childcare program in Gilroy that provides a warm, family-style environment where children can grow through play, structure, and nurturing care. We're looking for a reliable and compassionate Assistant Childcare Provider to support our daily operations and enrich the experience for the children in our care.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities
-Help facilitate daily routines including meals, clean-up & planning activities.
-Support structured play, circle time, arts and crafts, and story time
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare environment
-Model kind, respectful behavior and encourage positive social skills
-Communicate effectively with the provider and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications:
-Must have current CPR & First Aid Certification
-Completion of Mandated Reporter Training
-TB Test clearance
-TrustLine or Live Scan background clearance
-Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
-Reliable, patient, and able to work well in a home-based setting
Compensation:
The compensation for this position ranges from $17 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A retirement plan and sick leave accrual are also provided.
